Fun At Mimi & Grampy's

We've been having a ton of fun at Mimi and Grampy's since we arrived. The kids have enjoyed being outside and discovering neat things on the Shaub's property.

The weather has been glorious lately. It sure does make spending time outside easy.

No Pain... No Gain!

I have been meaning to post this for a while now. A few people have asked... and I guess if I was brave enough to post the before pics, I'd better be brave enough to post the after.
I lost a total of 9 inches from my before measurements. The best being around my tummy area, in which I lost almost 3.5 inches. I felt great doing the workouts and even looked forward to doing them everyday. I usually did them when Ethan and Emalina were down for their afternoon nap and Bella was in her room for a quiet time.
It took me a little longer then it was supposed to and I have to admit, I didn't stick to the routine 100%. But for the most part ever week my dates with Shaun T were... Insane! And I loved every minute of it!!! I guess I'm weird like that! LOL! There's nothing like having a good workout, sweating a lot and feeling great afterwards!
I didn't quite know exactly how it would turn out, nor if I would really see results. After the first 2 weeks however, I knew that it was going to work after I lost 2 inches off my tummy measurement.

The only thing I changed in my diet was eating 2 eggs every morning. Other then that... I still ate just as many bags (YES bags) of Cadbury Mini Eggs, gummies, popcorn, cookies, pizza and desserts as I usually do. Sorta wish I had stuck with some kind of meal plan to see the changes I could have gotten. Maybe next time... Haha!
Update: Since I left Germany, I haven't really worked out at all (Thank goodness for a hungry breastfeeding baby). I keep saying to Ben... I'd better start doing something or I'm going to turn into a flabby mess. LOL!

Bathing Beauty!

Emalina has never been a real fan of bath time.
But when she woke up from her nap on Wednesday with poop almost up to her neck (not joking)... It was time for a GOOD bath. We cleaned out the sink and in she went...
And she LOVED it! I don't know if it was the size of the sink, or the fact that she fit perfectly and could sit up right, but whatever it was, it sure did make for some great pics.

LOVE this one... Just look at those dimples. I guess she takes after her momma (the guys didn't call me "Chief Thunder Thighs" in high school for nothing!!!) LOL!

this pic: reminds me of Bella eyes when she was little
Love this little girl. Her personality is really coming out! And did I mention that she has two bottom teeth coming in. CRAZY!

Flickr Photos- Not in order

One of a Kind: Bella was bouncing out of her seat, while we ate our ice cream from Maplehof Dairy
The Sky is the Limit: A beautiful day in Lancaster, PA
96!: Ben's Grammy Shaub. She turned 96 years old this month... what an amazing woman!
What's in a Name: Grammy Shaub meeting her namesake for the first time. Hard to believe that at 96 she can lift a hefty little baby.
Playing on the Bed: Grampy and Emalina playing on the bed in the sunlight...
waiting to go to Easter dinner!
Frolic: The day after Resurrection Sunday, the Amish gather together and take the day off.
Chicken: The heat lamp for the baby chicks is ready to go...
Rice Cereal Anyone? Emalina started on rice cereal today... was't a big hit!
Ahh! The baby lambs LOVED Bella's skirt! And I think she loved all the attention!
Montana Skyline: Love the view from Steve and Ann's house.
The Moon is Bright: Taken outstide Ben's aunt and uncle's home in the country. Full Moon.
Quarryville Cemetery: Landmark on a crisp clear day.
