A Week in the :Life: Thursday

Sorry folks... a little behind here!
So, Thursday was Nikolustag (St Nicholas Day) here in Europe.
He kids put out their shoes the night before and were VERY excited to open the door this morning and see if St Nicholas brought anything... Bella was up twice during the night asking if she could check her boots!
St. Nick did not disappoint.

Then it was off to Bible Study at church! We have been doing the Excellent Wife... It has been a REALLY GOOD STUDY and has taught me so much. Lots of things to learn, be challenged with and change. I forgot to take a pic of the ladies... but here is a pic of the CRAZY kids room.

Eva to the rescue!
Every second Thursday is a cleaning day (and obviously a few other times during the month) at our house. Eva's express is in and out in a hour! It's great to not have to add cleaning the house to my list of craziness. A 50E expense... totally worth it!

After lunch it was naps and quiet time... After a while, Bella was really quiet, so I went up stairs to investigate and found her almost sleeping. To which I got her up and out of bed to keep her up and busy. If she falls asleep, she is up until all hours of the night.

So we worked on her Advent craft and colored Elizabeth and Mary and their pregnant bellies.
After nap time was over, it was off to prepare dinner and get ready for daddy to get home.
I had a helper unloading the dishwasher!
Oh yes... and i folded ALL the laundry I did on Monday... Just in time for more loads to be washed!
Then Daddy arrived home... a favorite part of the day!!!! FOr all!
Dinner! Beef stew with rice.
I hit the road at 7 and headed to a Pampered Chef party hosted by my friend Andrea. I don't usually leave Ben with the kids this much through the week. It just so happened that it was twice this week. And Ben did a great job getting them all in bed (the older two at least... Emy was down before I left).
We enjoyed yummy food, drinks and some good laughs. Thanks girls!

And then it was off to bed!

A Week in the LIfe: Wednesday

Wednesday started off getting Bella and Ethan off to preschool. Bella never has any issues going into class, Ethan on the other hand doesn't really like the drop off part. He is usually fine just after I leave...But I love knowing that he is safe at MDO and that his teachers love him.
After I dropped them off, I headed to Barbarossa Bakery to meet Andrea for a latte and a chocolate filled croissant. And let me tell you... these things DO NOT DISAPPOINT!

Just look at all those delicious goodies. Thank goodness for a little self control!
Nunnie got a little bread man for the go!
I took Emalina back home for a quick nap, and then it was back to school at noon to pick up the older kids. Here is Ethan with his great teachers Ms. Sarah and Ms. Olivia!
And here is Bella's class lining up to go home & Bella with her wonderful teacher Ms Anette!

 LUNCH!

We skipped nap time today to take Bella to her German dance class. Ethan even joined in a little.
After dance, I put Emalina down, because she was DONE! And because it was already after 3, I just kept Ethan up... The kids played with some play doe and made their ornaments for their Advent craft.

Then it was dinner. Up on tonights menu: Salmon, risotto and veggies. All three of them gobbled every last bite up! Yay... a healthy winner!

Bath Time! Didn't we just have bath time...like yesterday!? It seems like it!

Love that this little girls hair is curly!

ben didn't get home until 6:30. So we finally ate our dinner!

Tomorrow is Nikolustag here in Germany. Translation: St Nicholas Day. The German kids put out their shoes the night before and St Nicholas comes in the night if you have been good. Bella was so into it! She woke up twice last night asking if she could go check her boots!

 Teeth!
BED! Bella wanted to take a pic of Peety!

I came down to my lovely husband cleaning the kitchen! Thanks Baby!
Then it was time to play St Nicholas and get the kids 'stuff' together!
I sorta went a little overboard.
Dropped these little bags off to the neighbor girls, whose mom's both work.
 Then as Ben Did this:
And I finished this for tomorrow:

We chowed down on this tiny 9 dollar bag of Harry and David's Moose Munch. Oooh it was so good. And so worth the cost. Hopefully we'll be getting a bag or 2 that Ben's parents get from Costco like we usually do. HINT HINT!
