Bella and Maddie

Maddie is Isabella's best little buddy! They have a hoot with each other whenever we get together.

Julie watched Belles when I had a drs apt a few weeks back and took this cute video.

This is literally what these girls do every time we get together... their nursery workers even tell us, that when in the nursery Maddie and Bella chase each other non stop. Notice how Bella just goes the way she wants, never sharing directions with Maddie (we might have to work on that). That girl sure does LOVE to get chased!

Becoming a little Monkey!

Bella has been VERY active lately.

Well we were all taking bets to decide when she would walk... Just yesterday she started taking a few steps here and there. I tried to capture some on video and this is what I got. Isn't she just the cutest!
I have a feeling it won't be long before she's off and running!!!

Bellie Standing!

Here is a really cute video of Bellie standing up in her crib for the first time. She now can stand up on most of the furniture and she is starting to toddle around everything. I think she'll be walking before her 1st birthday!

As you will see Bella is VERY proud of herself for standing! What a cutie!

Scoot Scoot

Last weekend we went down to Witchita Falls to get Bella some things...

We bought her a Play Yard! They aren't called play PENS anymore... Anyway, we thought it would be good, consider she is getting more mobile and the longer we wait to introduce her to a play yard the harder it will be to keep her in it once she can actually crawl and walk.

She loves it! She plays to well in it! Now, hopefully she will like it even when she can actually get around! We will see.

This is our little scooter! She only goes to the right... but it's just so darn cute!

I went to the bathroom this afternoon and left Bella Girl playing in her crib...

A Water Baby Through & Though!

Ever since her very first bath, Bella Girl has always liked her bath time... She even likes the shower too. I can't wait to get her in the pool again and take her swimming!

This is how excited Isabella gets when she hears the shower going and knows that she gets to go in! As soon as we lay her on the bed and turn the shower water on to warm up, her legs start kicking and she gets all excited!

I think it's important for children to know how to swim and be comfortable around water. My brother's and I all learned how to swim on our own at a pool in Hawaii and went through all the swimming lessons as children... and I just know that Isabella will be a little fishy in the water when it comes time for her to learn how to swim.

My Aunt sent me this really cool video on the IRS swim technique for children (I first learned of it from my friend Paige). How cool is this:

Yesterday during Bella's nap I could hear that she was awake and chatting to herself... I poked my head in her door to see what was up, and this is what I found:

Bella Meets Buster!

This was Bella meeting Buster for the first time. Buster is Aunt Gail and Uncle Jim's cute dog. He was really excited when we first arrived and was panting and making lots of noises... and Bella just thought he was the coolest thing. This went on for at least 20 minutes. I don't know who was more excited... Buster or Bella. Buster might just take the cake... when he peed all over the Ottoman from all the excitement!

Rolling Over!

Last night I had an OSC (Officer's Spouses Club) meeting... and when I got back Ben informed me that our little Muffin Rolled Over TWICE while I was gone! I couldn't believe it... because she's never done that with me... I quickly asked Ben if he got a picture or video of the event, to which he replied "No".
So the first thing I did this morning was lie Isabella down on the floor with my camera ready... and the first thing she did was pull up her little feet and Rolled over! WOW! What a little champ!

Naughty Bella!

I got busy this afternoon booking tickets for our Pennsylvania trip in October, that I didn't realise it was almost 3 hours since Isabella went down for her nap... I went to see if she was alright and I caught her RED HANDED going to town on her thumb for the first time. I thought we were in the clear, considering Bella hadn't found her thumb to suck on at all as of yet... I guess I spoke too soon! Naughty Girl!
