BernKastle Kues Christmas Market

On Friday we headed out to the Bernkastle Kues Christmas market. It was a small market with probably 30 stalls and food stands, but my parents loved the town and thought their first Christmas Market experience was magical!  Bernkastle Kues is a beautiful town on the Moselle river. It is filled with old German charm, complete with its timber framed buildings.
We made it just in time to see the 21st door to the life size Advent Calendar turn over in a little ceremony filled with Christmas music and singing. We enjoyed bratwursts, potato cakes with smoked salmon and some good ol' gluhwein.

Hi Natalie,
Mom and I just viewed all the pics up to Christmas Eve and they are an excellent presentation of many of the activities we did together. Beautiful photos!
We really enjoyed our time together with you, Ben, Isabella, Ethan and Emalina. You have a wonderful family.
