Happy Halloween Everyone!

Isabella wasn't really interested in trick or treating... but just like last year she loved handing out the candy!

On a Roll...

My Mother in Law reminded me that I don't always have to have a lot of writing in a post... Just pictures! Being so far away from family, this blog is one of their only way of seeing our kiddos on a day to day basis! And I have been horrible at blogging on a regular basis... I will try to be better at it so you all can see our kids more often!

This is one of Ethan's favorite poses... He LOVES holding his index finger up like that and chewing either on that finger or his thumb. Hummm... maybe he is teething (although I have been saying that for at least 2 months now, I have a feeling he is not going to be the easiest teether).

Ehtan 8 MOnths

Behind as usual... I think I still need to get Ethy's 7 month shrinking bear photos up... Anyway, here is our little man at 8 months old. His look is really starting to change. We just think he is the cutest little guy around. It will be so fun and interesting to see what kind of personality he has. i would say he is busy and demanding and knows what he wants... but he really does have a sweet demeanor! We are just so in love with this little guy and know that he is such a blessing!

• His hair is filling in...
• He loves to sit up...
• He loves playing with blocks...
• He LOVES his food: sweet potatoes and ground up chicken is his favorite, but I have to put a little bit of pears or apple sauce on the end of the spoon for him to gobble it down like crazy....
• Ethy is also following in the footsteps of his older sister and loves his yogurt!
• He put his feet in his mouth for the first time this month
• He surprisingly is a little on the skinny side of the growth curve. So I have been trying to fatten this little guy up by giving him a bottle before I go to bed... the funny thing is he drinks it all in his sleep!
• He typically sleeps from 7-7 with two naps during the day.
• Is in 6-12 month clothing, size three diapers
• Does not like it on his stomach. He rolls over immediately onto his back
• He weighs 17 lbs
• Loves watching his big sister dance
• Still loves being swaddled
• Tries to grab at anything and everything
• He does not like having a messy diaper and will let you know it
• Since we got back from Hawaii, he hardly nurses anymore. So this kid is now a full time bottle baby. But still drinking breast milk, as i have been able to keep up my milk supply pumping

Weekend fun

Here is what we did this past weekend. The weather has been super dooper nice lately (in the 80's). So we have been spending lots of time outside.

One of Bella's favorite things to do is play with the chalk. She'll say "Outside Mommy, play chalk"

And then proceed to tell me "Sit down Mommy, right there".

Oh yes and her other favorite thing to do is play with her stroller. Ben and I joke that she is a hoarder... as she collects anything and everything around the house to put in her stroller. You'd be amazed at what we find in there.

Halloween Decorating

We have been doing a little halloween decorating around the house.

Isabella "helped" me put up these sticky letters and decals on the front door. Isn't her two year old smile just great???

I have finally put up some of my favorite photos of the kiddos in our family room. I want to put up some more, but for now these are good.

I took these photos before we went to the BIG TEXAN. The lighting was perfect. Isabella wouldn't sit still... So Ethan was the STAR of this show... It's about time!
