HE IS RISEN!

No power in death...
Grace given for you and ME...
TODAY OUR SAVIOR IS RISEN...

I love this video of the RESURRECTION DANCE... The enthusiasm of young Christians proclaiming their faith in and thankfulness for the risen son Jesus Christ!!! and because it was filmed in Hungary not too far from where my Mom was lived for the first three years of her life. Brings tears to my eyes.
HE IS RISEN!

Jesus said to her, "I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in me will live even though he dies; and whoever lives and believes in me will never die." John 11: 25-26

NOTHING in my life is more important to me then knowing Jesus as my Lord and my Savior!
There is no sting in death, when we have Christ! And on this day when my Savior lives and rose into heaven for you and ME I cannot help but reflect on what that means in my life. Is my life any different because of this gift? Do I have HIS joy, faith, perseverance, love and eternal perspective... I would love to say I do all the time... but I am a sinner and I'm not perfect and that is why I need HIM... and therefore even more thankful for HIS grace and mercy in my life!
Thank you Lord for being obedient... even obedient to death on a cross, so that through you we may have LIFE!
HE IS RISEN INDEED!

Driving around the Island!

Hi Bella and Ethan... Mimi & Grandma too! Here are some more pics for our vacation. Mommy and Daddy miss you and we will see you soon. We love you!

Our Caving Adventure!!!!

This was Harry our tour guide... And his name fit him quite perfectly... and not that he had lots of hair... He was a very peculiar man. Lives with his aging parents in a remote lot on the Hilo side. He bought the property in 1980, but didn't know that he had a cave/lava tube entrance on the property until 1996. Since then he has taken 3000 people through a portion of the worlds longest cave/lava tube.
He was (to say it nicely) a little sketchy. But he was very knowledgeable about the cave and it was neat exploring the cave and seeing where lava had traveled creating this beautiful structure.
Wheh we first entered the cave, Harry locked his homemade iron gate with a key he put in his upper pocket... At that point, I was thinking to myself... are we going to get out of here alive? Thinking maybe he was a little more crazy then originally thought. And then at the turnaround point, he asked us if we wanted to see totally darkness (meaning to turn off the flashlights)... I was thinking, this is it, he's going to kill us! LOL!
(I guess I've been watching too many murder mystery shows). Ben on the other hand kept thinking to himself... I just hope Harry doesn't loose that key! Funny how different minds think... so differently!

These are the makeshift ladders we used to climb up and down the cave.
 Outfitted in our caving gear!
Standing on the edge of the USA... In South Point, HI!
Me driving the jeep... It was fun!

A sink hole people jump into... If I wasn't pregnant (or had kids... because that would be irresponsible:) I would have jumped in! You have to time to jump perfectly with the waves. You jump into high tide and then the current spits you out into the ocean on the other side. Definitely something I would have done in my younger years...

Dinner last night at Ruth's Chris Steakhouse... yummy!

Introducing....

The worlds next great boogie boarder...

These pics were from dinner last night.... The sunset was beautiful!

Kona Brewing Co. tonight for dinner... They have the BEST Pizza!
This picture shows off my great tan... I mean burn! Which is quite ironic... considering all day long all that Ben heard was... "I have to make sure I put lots of sun screen on, because I really don't want to burn". I truly did re-apply three times! And where did we go right after the beach... we went to Target and bought new sunscreen!!!!!

A little funny story... As we were driving into Kona, I did think to my self... Wow its really quiet in here, the kids are having a good sleep!!!! And then I snapped out of it and remembered the kids were back at home and it was just Ben and I in the Jeep!!! LOL, too funny!
