Gigi Dottie!

 I couldn't wait to see Gigi Dottie. Ben's Dad's Mom... who is 96 I might add. She was so excited to meet Ethan (the only Shaub boy (at this point) to carry on the Shaub name) and meet Emalina who is her namesake (Emalina's middle name Dorothy). Grammy Shaub is such an amazing woman. At 96 she was lifting Emalina and Ethan up on her lap and so vibrant with life. She still lives on her own in a little house, cooks for herself, does crossword puzzles and is prayerfully active in all of her 13 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren lives. I am so thankful that my children will have the memory of their Gigi Dottie.

Grammy just loved seeing Ethan... This was her first time meeting him and she was so delighted. It was cute, because she kept on saying "He looks so much like a Shauby".

Walk in the Woods!

The weather has been beautiful here lately. We have been getting out on nice long walks and playing outside with the kids. On Friday we went for a family walk through the woods near our house... With Sleeping Beauty Aurora and a little bicker dude (and a sleeping baby in the stroller)! 

 It's nice that Bella and Ethan are at the age where they can play nicely together. They had a fabulous time playing peek a boo and chasing each other around the tree and looking for Swiper the Fox (from Dora) in the trees. One of their favorite things to do is play with sticks! Cheap fun... which I'm fine with (until we end up with a collection of sticks out our front door) Lol!

Mini Album for Grammy Shaub

Grammy Shaub (Ben's Grandma) who lives in Lancaster, PA asked for a photo of Ethan a while ago... It has taken my until now to get this little mini album together to send to her. I always have good intentions, but sometimes I get carried away with projects, that it takes forever to finishes them, if they get finished at all. BAD!
She was super excited for us to have a boy, because Ethan will carry on the SHAUB name. She is such an amazing women. She is 94 years old and super vivacious and spunky. Last time we were in PA (last September) she bent over and picked Isabella up! Can you believe that??? What an amazing women. Not only is she strong physically, she is an one of the most dedicated prayers and women of faith that I know. I am so thankful that our children have such a strong Christian heritage from their Grammy Shaub.
We are planning a trip out to PA in the spring and can't wait to see everyone and introduce Ethan to his Great Grammy Shaub!

Ethan meets the Smith's

While we were home Ethan had the chance to meet the Smith Clan.

The first Great Grandson! Way to go Ethan.

We had an enjoyable dinner with Grandpa and Grandma Smith and Carolyn and Jamie, who were excited to meet our little man.

As well as a visit from Gordon, Claudia and Jarod!

Thanks so much for spending time with us! I am so glad that Ethan was able to meet all of you. Look forward to seeing you all at Christmas!

Visiting with Relatives in Calgary

While we were home one of Isabella's favorite things to say was GG Baba, who is my mom's mom. GG Baba loved meeting Ethan and seeing Bella again. Our children are so lucky that they have 6 living great grandparents who love them to pieces.
